Early Intervention
ADM’s Early Intervention program provides our customers with vital information and intervention within 24 hrs of case referral. Upon receiving the case, we will dispatch a Medical Case Manager to the treatment facility or other designated location to assess the situation and report back vital information in a timely manner.
The objective of this program is to triage an employee’s injury/work status as quickly and efficiently as possible in an effort to assess safe, early return to work opportunities.
Our Medical Case Managers will immediately:
1. Document findings and communicate issues to all concerned parties.
2. Facilitate an interdisciplinary team conference to discuss case action plans.
3. Facilitate recommendation of an appropriate treatment program.
4. Facilitate medical treatment plan intervention and suggest viable
treatment options, if appropriate.
5. Monitor employee medical status and assist the injured worker in
following established protocols and treatment plans.
6. Focus on returning the employee to productive work in the safest, most cost-effective manner possible.
For this program to produce the desired results, it is vital ADM receive the referral as close to the injury date as possible. Early referral will provide our staff with the opportunity to impact the case and get it moving in a positive direction for all parties concerned.
