Case Manager Standards for Preferred Vendors
ADM's criteria includes staffing and qualification requirements to ensure continuity, accountability, and consistent execution.
- • Case managers assigned must possess and maintain an active RN license in the state(s) where they are managing cases (as required).
- • CCM certification is preferred, but not required.
- • Case managers should have a minimum of two years of workers' compensation experience.
- • Case managers assigned to customer-referred cases must be fully trained and independently practicing (no OJT or trainee assignments on customer-referred files).
- • Case managers assigned to customer-referred cases must be direct employees (W-2) of the vendor/case management company.
- • The vendor/case management company must not use independent contractors or assign contractors to any customer-referred cases.
- • Any exception must be pre-approved in writing by the customer.
